PARIS/FRANCE:  A concert with highlights from the international opera repertoire, with two opera star voices, Ramón Vargas, ténor, Ildar Abdrazakov,  basse, together with Mzia Bachtouridze,  piano.

The recital will include arias, duets and piano solo  Tchaïkovski, Verdi, Donizetti, Rossini, Mozart, Wagner/Liszt, Offenbach, Massenet, Gounod.

Ramón Vargas (born 1960) is a Mexican operatic tenor. Since his debut in the early ’90s, he has developed to become one of the most acclaimed tenors of the 21st century

. Known for his most expressive and agile lyric tenor voice, he is especially successful in the bel canto repertoire.

Ildar Abdrazakov (born 1976) has quickly established himself as one of opera’s most sought-after basses. Since making his La Scala debut in 2001 at only 25, the Russian singer has become a mainstay at leading houses worldwide, including New York’s Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, and Munich’s Bavarian State Opera.

They are both being accompanied by Mzia Bachtouridze, with whom Ramón Vargas has collaborated for eight years, and with whom he had his first concert in 2013 at the Wigmore Hall in London.
