Currently on display are works of the great Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, one of the biggest names in the history of Nineteenth-Twentieth century
. His great artistic production is widely exemplified in this rich exhibition of paintings, posters, drawings, lithographs coming from public and private collections
.

The subjects are all linked to Paris environments of late nineteenth century, and this exhibition gives us a closer view of what was considered the world capital of art at that time, Paris the city of Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, artists, intellectuals, writers, sinful night clubs home of girls dancers.

The artist’s technical mastery was really great, with its speedy strokes he drew or painted subjects sometimes well defined, sometimes left sketchy.

Everything is seen through the eye of one of the most acute and disenchanted protagonists of that cultural time.

The interesting exhibition is open till February 2016.
