Founded in 2005 at the Europa Bach Festival, Pygmalion is born of the meeting of a choir and an orchestra on period instruments, consisting of young musicians with diverse backgrounds
. Mainly focused on the work of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries, however, the directory is intended in response to training, to move from Baroque to contemporary.
