Together with the October 1989 Paris Fashion Week in 1989, a fashion accessory showroom gathering 147 brands was organized at the Auteuil racetrack. One simple goal: to shift the international buyers’ attention from ready-to-wear fashion shows to fashion accessories, as well as create a showcase dedicated to all the accessory designers that anonymously work for famous brands

VENDOME LUXURY
At the same time an even more luxuriouse event is going on, called VENDOME LUXURY. exposing many great international luxuriouse brand names at the two Hôtel Le Meurice and Hôtel D´Evreux and at Impertinence of Vendôme.
For this new event, which Carole de Bona will present twice a year, the founder of Vendôme Luxury wishes to place greater emphasis on the links between all forms of creation.Arnaud Laportewill from now on be collaborating with her as curator of VLA.In the prestigious Palace Le Meurice and in the courtyard of the superb Evreux Hotel, Place Vendôme, VLAoffers unconventional showcases for young artists, thus exceptionally highlighting their world.For this first edition of VLA, following a call for projects which received more than 120 proposals, Carole de Bona and Arnaud Laporte have chosen to present the work of Fred Sapey-Triomphe, with a collection of works grouped together under the heading “Ping Pong Screen”.On show from 26 September to 4 October at the Meurice and from 26 to 29 September in the courtyard of the Hôtel d’Evreux for VLA #1.
These two large expositions, Premiere Class and Vendome Luxury, are supplying each other very well, and are giving the buyers from all over the world, the international press, and others an extraordinary overlook of what the designer has in mind and want the womens to look like for the spring and summer 2015. And in deed, there is every thing for all tastes and money books.
