MUNICH: The wonderful Lithuanian tenor Kristian Benedikt had his first evening April 6th as Otello in Giuseppe Verdis opera Otello at Bayerisches Staatsoper in Munich, where he are singing together with Anja Harteros as Desdemona and Claudio Sgura as Igao

Kristian Benedikt had in March 2013 success as Otello in Italy, first with a seria of performances at the famouse Teatro di Luciano Pavarotti in Modena, of which the last one was televised, these Othellos was followed by two Otello performances in Piacenzo.
